Back home from Australia .


Everyone made it home and most of the gear and luggage .
Dave and Chris had an aborted landing at Pearson . But after twenty- eight hours , who cared ?
Joel was on a plane with his buddy , Bo Diddley .

No rest for the wicked . It's straight into SILVERCHILDE STUDIOS and Dave's record and then reheasals for the Ashtray Rock tour and a month on the road across the homeland .

And ... the PLAYOFFS start tonight . We are still awaitng reports of the Halifax/Dartmouth Ferries -Dave Marsh -less progress at the years Exclaim! Cup in Toronto . They probably swept .

The Great Escape Festival saw us 3 times over the weekend , one JOEL PLASKETT and two JOEL PLASKETT EMERGENCY musical revues that went down very well indeed .
Lee Scratch Perry lit his microphone on fire .
Lemonheads did not make lemonade . And
Marsh and Elk messed the entire stage up pretty good with the ever popular ' exploding bale of hay ' gag .

WE are going HOME . First thing tomorrow morning . A quick 32 hours or so and out of the sandals and into the hand knit addidas slippers . Look out ladies . And , oh , pressies for everyone !
Montreal lost to the Leafs !!?? Out of the playoffs by one point !?? Might as well stay down here for knifey /spoony season . Or better yet , ANZAC DAY and get the low down on the game of TWO UP .

Australia Fair has been good to these bluenosers . Until we return .
