While JOEL resuscitates the UK single -handedly , Emergency Dave and Chris remain in Halifax to see destiny semi -fulfilled with a stellar show at the Carleton with a guy that Springsteen invites on stage , NYC's Willie Nile , that defied the mortality of rock and roll .
